Infinite is a magazine and an undergraduate MIT student group dedicated to the creation, study, discussion, and appreciation of fashion. Infinite Magazine was launched in print and online in early 2018, with new issues released approximately once per semester. The magazine, funded in part by a CAMIT grant, features full-page photo spreads and articles on topics including trashion, fashion design in Asia, gender fluidity, and fast fashion. Each issue also features interviews with MIT students about their interests in and experiences with fashion and design.
In addition to producing online and print editions of Infinite Magazine, the Infinite team hosted the first MIT Design Week in April 2019, also supported in part by a CAMIT grant. This multi-day initiative, created by and for MIT undergraduates, highlighted art, technology, and creativity at the Institute through a series of workshops, panels, demos, and performances. The culminating event of Design Week, LIMINAL: The Outfinite Fashion Show, featured fashion designs created and modeled by MIT students.
